    Fusing Unit not Set Correctly

    Dear All,

I have a MP5000 which suddenly generates SC672, I replaced controller board than Machine generates SC670, which removed by replacing IOB board, after replacing both boards 'fusing uit set correctly' error occurs, although scanner is working properly.
I check fusing unit on another machine fusing unit runs perfectly.

    Kindly guide me.

sc672 is a hard disk problem. Lots and lots of treats on this forum tells you that...

If you plugged everything back in properly when you changed boards...

Check fuser bearings, particularly Hot Roller bearing on the drive gear side. They are known to seize up and spin in frame when not replaced on time. Nice job getting it out too when they do.

Did you fit a used or new controller & was it from an identical model?
