    Firmware up to date
    created local user
    enabled smbv1
    disabled AV
    tried different network interface on laptop
    disabled Firewall

      User Tools - Systems Settings - Interface Setting - Print Settings - Last page of the print out.

        I thought SMB 1 would not work anymore. If so that is your problem.

            If they are using windows 10 ask if they set up the windows 10 computer with a email account. If so use that account name I.E. "name@abc.com" plus the normal log-in password to authenticate to the folder.
