    C5502 SC682-13

    Hi, All. I have a new one here. A sc682-13 is a memory chip at the td sensor error, possibly a bad chip on a dev unit. I would guess the suffix of 13 would point towards the offending unit. Can anybody point me to a list of all the 682 codes? I did not find it in the service manual. Thanks.

      01=Y 02=M 03=C 04=K

      Usually a force toner supply & dev init on the relevant unit will rectify the error (personal experience)

        I used the table for rfid errors(may be right or wrong), and replaced the magenta pcdu. Since the code was only logged and not shown, next time I return I should have no more of this code on the SMC. Time will tell.

          They called back yesterday with a "photoconductor unit not set" problem. I went ahead and replaced all the pcdu's and brought the old ones in to troubleshoot. The M unit obviously was not the one at fault.
