    dv units = ?
    fuser units = ?
    fuser belts = ?

    OS is 20k (18 for the 28)
    pcu are 40k (36 for the 28)
    dev are 80k (54 for the 28)
    fuser is 60k (54 for the 28)
    Generally very reliable.

      PCUs where changed to 60k.

Transfer cleaning blade and brush are not given pm yields but I would say around the 120k-160k mark.

How good are they? Not quite as good as the MPC 2500/4500 range but far, far better than the 1224/3224 models!
Don't thrash the PCU's and dev units past their use by dates, keep a stock of fusers close at hand(their not rebuildable), pay attention to the transfer belts and they should serve you well.

The 2232c and 2238c are great machines. Easy to PM, and the yields on the PM items are pretty forgiving. I've had PCU's in machines out in the middle of nowhere last well past the 60,000 limit. Usually they start to show visible signs of issues around 75,000 to 80,000 pages. Also make sure to pay attention to the monthly volumes: these models have two different oil units (one is a high volume which is for machines doing over 14,000 pages a month), putting the right oiler in a machine will make the fuser last much longer.
The only real issue are line position errors, which keep the transfer belt clean and the shiny roller at the top of it spotless and you can avoid most issues. I used to have dozens of these out in the field and found them nothing but a breeze to keep running. Even though the newer MP C3500's are a better machine in terms of colour quality, for a good business quality colour machine you can't get much easier or user friendly than this model.

Don't pay attention to the PM counters - these machines can't count. Just keep a fuser and oil handy, that's about the only thing that will bring it completely down
