Mpc305 WIth Various Problems

Good evening

I have an MPC305 with various problems

The printer gave this flaw

See image attached

- On some sheets came out an abnormal fold
- If you printed in color, it printed an out-of-color strip

I changed:

FUSER
PAPER TRANSFER -D1176201 (D118-6204)
PCDU BLUE



For a month everything worked ok, but after a month there was a problem with color and creases

I'm going crazy, help me

The wrinkle in the paper is probably a bad fuser unit. The fusers in this model suck. The pressure roller starts to deform causing the problem.

Thanks for your answer.
The fuser is brand new as it is possible that still continues to make wrinkles? And then it does not always.
Is it my impression or is the model mpc305 a model with many faults?

What firmware versions is the machine on? there were loads of FW issues early on in production om this model.

How many prints on the machine? I've had 5 of these machines and I didn't like them at all. My customers ran them into the ground fast. I no longer have the machines.

I was gonna mention that but I could remember where the lasers were. They are above the drums, under the paper exit cover. Not easy to get to,but definitely worth a shot to clean them.

The color problem with that strip how could I solve it?

At first glance I know the system/copy firmware is on 4.13 now.

These 305's always suffer from the white line/deletion issue, mostly happens on low use machines, like yours is.
There was a bulletin about this, if I can find it I will attach.

Why did the problem occur a month after changing the PCDU as suggested by Ricoh technical support?
The strange thing is that if I print the test pattern - checker flag pattern with black e yellow I do not have any white lines
However I try to follow your advice.

The issue is with your cyan (blue) PCDU.

I trust you are using genuine Ricoh toner?

Hi there!
Is the ptr the modified one or the original part? The old one is very good in jamming & wrinkling when getting old. The white line in cyan is not the lasershield, there is crap under the dr-blade.
As the other tech say update the complete fw.

The wrinkle in the paper is probably the transfer roller
you must open cyan unit ,and clean developer unit.

Me too. I have had several machines of this model and I have been changing them. I still have some in some client and it's a problem.
