Thanks for any help you can provide."Heavy music to the normal ear is nothing but a loud annoyance. Re: MP C6502 SC672-11
This MAY be a shot in the dark, but what I would try is replacing the HDD, reflashing the firmware, and as a last resort REPLACE the harness from control panel to Main controller. You may have a bad connection somewhere in between.
...good luck. Those are definitely "Head Scratchers"! -

Re: MP C6502 SC672-11
UPDATE:
Replaced the HDD's and both cables from OP panel to the IPU. Also tried another OP panel and made sure all firmware was current.
Still can not get the hard keys to work on the op panel. And still the issue of 672-11 if I do not unplug and discharge the machine.
I truly am lost on this one"Heavy music to the normal ear is nothing but a loud annoyance. Re: MP C6502 SC672-11
I know how it feels... recently had an mpc 3004 on the same problem. It turned out to be the HDD. Luckily, we give out SSDs to techs on the field to replace whenever the HDD fails.Aye! Cut the crapComment

Re: MP C6502 SC672-11
UPDATE:
I have tried all suggestions listed above with no luck. I ordered and installed brand new HDD's from Ricoh (ouch$$) with no change. We are pulling and replacing the machine. Customer has been understanding thus far, but its starting to wear thin.
I will continue to troubleshoot the machine in the shop and hopefully update this thread with a solution."Heavy music to the normal ear is nothing but a loud annoyance. [QUOTE=MitchD;708791] Estoy abierto a cualquier sugerencia Gracias por cualquier ayuda que pueda proporcionar. [/COTIZAR]
I have had that problem for a long time, the machine boot has lost it in the flash memory. The only way is to forcefully insert the firmware. I don't have the program to do it. Changing the controller for a good one should work for you
