HI,

Can this machine work with scan to email using the smtp.office365.com ?
are the protocols SSL/TSL installed.
Client needs to know, depends on buying this machine or not.

Yes this model will scan via O365 no problem I have loads out scanning with no issues.

You may have to update firmware if its an early model but most likely no need.

I don't know about the 401's, but I have had the "joy" of dealing with a lot of the 301's and they have the SSL security as long as the firmware is up to date. I would check to make sure 365 office email doesn't have any extra security features for "lesser secure devices" or anything.
