Ricoh MP4002 won't scan to win10

Hello,

Customer called to report that he upgraded to win10 and now the copier (Ricoh MP4002) is not scanning at all, the same thing again (known issue), yes, firmware update needed,

as far as I know this is the Ricoh D129-17 model and RFU or SD fw will be of great help. Please let me know if payment is needed and/or other
manuals or firmware for other brands, I have several brands' material and I'm eager to help you out too.

I have helped many technicians through private messages or email. just recently I sent a Xerox production machine manual for a technician from Texas,
I suppose I don't have to grant you access to my mail to prove you that.

To anyone (technician) looking for a manual or firmware ask me for it first, if I have it you can have it too, free.
For example, here is a list of what I have for Toshiba (I have lists from my database for many other brands too).

For starters, Ricoh Corporation owns all of the firmware, service and parts manuals, technical bulletins, software and licenses.
None of which is to be freely distributed without the written consent of the Ricoh Corporation.

The true fact is that firmware is the intellectual property of the Copier manufacturer and as such is protected under copyright laws. To request it is a violation of the forum rules.

I agree, it is forbidden to release firmware publicly the brand loses prestige and you risk breaking the controller or the bicu if the firmware is damaged or compromised. Who takes responsibility for any complaints?

And nobody has asked for a manual or firmware to fix something. I find that hard to believe unless all of are working for the manufacture?

again as many have stated... Manuals and Firmware are intellectual property of said COMPANIES and not the Dealer techs. AND distribution of said materials is STRICTLY forbidden on this site.
