    MPC2011 Noise

    Hello
I have two machines MPC2011 with this noise. It happens in the morning or when the machine is out of work for a long time.

    Please see:
    YouTube

I already tested the fusing unit. The machines have about 5,000 ptints.
    What will it be?
    Thanks

have you run the motor/fan test?

The toner pump coils? Are you using original toner?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

It's an issue that is widely known. They are just crappy parts put in during production. Only thing to do is replace the sub-hopper that is affected. Pretty easy job.

We've also had a couple machines where the waste toner transport coil breaks, and backs up into the units. This occurrence is much more of a pain in the ass, and usually have to replace Development units along with it, or you'll just keep getting issues going forward.

Good day , did you manage to find out where the noise is coming from ?
As I have the same problem. Its only in the morning.

I have checked all drum units and dev units, aswell as fuser gears and ITB.

In sp mode I have ran the output tests on the drum motors, developer motors, fusing fan and fuser motor.

Could the fuser idling settings resolve this issue?

Ok, since you ran output modes, which mode caused the noise? And did you already try to adjust fuser idle settings?

thats what boggles my mind, when i ran the output tests there is no noise , i have not tried the fuser idle settings yet and will be doing that today and will let you know if that solved the issue.

Quick question, does the noise occur when paper is being pulled from a paper tray. If so, the friction pad is vibrating in its guide. There is a bulletin that covers it.

                          Wrong model.

If it uses friction pad type paper separation, the same principle applies.

If your noise is the same is the original posters youtube clip it is caused by the cleaning unit.

Its a friction/vibration sound where the blade contacts the belt. Once the cleaning unit and/or belt age they make this noise & need replacing.

It's usually an intermittent noise, the customer will typically report the sounds comes & goes throughout the day.
