Ricoh MP6001, when two side copying on the DF ( single pass ), the image on the back ( Sometimes ) goes out unreadable, ( please see example attached ), when you turn off and on the machine, the problem es solved. Some idea, whats going on ?

Also check the springs that press the white reference roller against the CIS, The text on the first page appears as if one side is not held fully in contactComment

I would shake the adf upside down and check for wandering paper clips,staples etc that
can short or ground the adf.
I always am amazed of how stuff finds its way inside them..Comment

I had a 2nd side CIS blur on this exact model. When I inspected it, I found some sort of greasy lubricant coating the rear side of the assy. Cleaning it took care of the problem. Also, make sure the springs on the underside ADF guide (the one you pull away to see the CIS) are applying even pressure.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment
