Ricoh 8200s PCU Cleaning Unit Replacement issues

    Hi all,

I've got two 8200s that i've recently had PCU cleaning unit PM warnings on. My company prefer to refurbish the unit rather than replacing the whole cleaning unit.

    I replaced the following:

    D1793635 Coating Bar

    D1793653 Blade Apply Assy

    D1793641 Brush Apply

    D1793581 Blade Cleaning Assy

I reset counters in SP mode, and the counter seemed to disappear, but it has since come back and customer has recalled.

Any idea as to why it has returned?

Also, i noticed on a support guide for the 8200 on ricohs website, that they mention clearing the counter in the adjustments for skilled operators menu, but when i access this menu i cant find anything to do with counters under machine maintenance - as mentioned here: Resetting the Replaceable Parts Counter

    Any help appreciated.

Clear the relevant parts counters in SP7622. If the alert comes back, the lube bar triggered one or both of the actuators in the lube bar end switch assembly you take off to replace the bar itself. If you take the assembly off, turn it over, you'll see the actuator in the little slot. If you can't, that switch is triggered and you need to take it off and reset it.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Clear one part at a time, not as unit, may help.
Please start you post with brand, model, problem.

After checking the lube bar sensors, try resetting the cleaning unit counter with the doors open. After pressing execute, close the doors, this should reset the flag if both sensors are in the right position.
