c2503 sometimes tear in paper from all trays

Sometimes a littel tear is formed in the copypaper (somewhere half way the paper) with a little dog ear, bended away from ITB site
    (so, towards transfer roller site).
Same problem on the first side of a duplex print (so problem is not in the exit unit).
Customer himself has moved this machine a few months ago to another location in another town.
It's a contract, and we think he has waited ever since to inform us now...
I checked all parts, seals, paper path over and over again with inspection lamp, I can't see anything abnormal!
My guess is the F.U., but it is very expencive to replace it as a whole.
    What would you do?

I had a tech shared to me once, it was those transport rollers being tight that causes tear on paper. Maybe this should help.

I've had the belts on those transport rollers stretch as well which leads to bad feeding and registration, sometimes damages the paper. Usually if you look at the belt you can tell if it's funny, but if you can slide it off the roller without working hard it's gone.
