Ricog Aficio 2018 printer scanner problem

Hi Everyon,

we have one ricoh Aficio 2018 printer scanner.

We are trying to setup email address.
I accessed printer to web interface and logged into printer ...email settings but i was found that THERE IS NO COLUMN for EMAIL ADDRESS. so checked with one of our another same printer that does have.

what is the problem?Why i cant see Eamil address column?

Can anyone please let me know what would be the solution for this.

Email addresses are entered into the address book.

Also, on the web interface monitor, you need to log into the page as the administrator to see the address book.

sorry i forget to mention that i am logged in with administrator user and i am looking at address book only( By mistake i typed it is under email setting)

Log into configuation setting then go to the email tab,their you will see the column to input email address.

I am not able to catch what you have said.
can you please explain me some other way.

Actually i confirmed that this scanner works fine but beasue we cannot see email address column so we cannot store mail address under address book.

so every time if we need to send an email we have to type email address manually from printer.


can you please be more specific and if possible, provide me steps so i can follow you and make this printer to save email addresses.

Go into the address book, click add to add a user, scroll down and you should see the email address field, enter the address, and the destination should now show up in your scan to email screen.

I have checked it but the column for email address is not showing there.

I have attached screen shot of addressbook and screenshot of new reocrd edition.

Thats strange alright. Look in 7801 and see if there is a ROM version for scanning. Should be at level C. If its not there you may have the wrong SD card installed. You could switch it with the one that has email. Just to see, that is.

1.pirnter scanner ünit Sd card install to C1 slot. Enter the IP adress explorer. setting email adress.

2. 5801 memory all clear. setting 5870-3 and 5870-1 execute. Enter the web image monitor, settings email adress
