sounds like you didn't clear the counter on the belt.. resetting counts doesn't clear indiv parts

Go into SP Mode >PM Counters

Find the counters for the parts you replaced and clear them,

Go into SP Mode> System SP

3701-116 (fixing belt) and 3701-118 (Pressure Roller) can both be set to "1", then exit and reboot the machine.

      Hope this helps.

I reset the pm counts in sp and checked to make sure the yields were correct, did 3701-115-116-118, 7622-115-116-118 and checked 7803 was at 63 and performed pm reset too 7804. What keeps this information stored eprom or nvrams on this machine. By the way it will reset and come to ready after doing 3701-115-116-118 i can make a copy and then the message comes up after the copy comes out. WTF help appreciated.

Have you tried updating the firmware? what package is the machine currently on, from memory v27 is the latest.
With the later fw you get an addition PM counter tab in service mode.

Did you reset the individual parts, along with the PM counters. If you did not you will have to go back and reset the PM counters again and the parts counters. Then cycle power.

Did you let the fuser go to like 400k or above? I ran into one that wouldn't clear until I put the reset Fuse in with the new sleeve unit (Fuse comes with new fusing sleeve ass'y).

A reset fuse for the 03's I thought that was only for the 02's with the 544 error. Am I missing something here.

Did you reset high heat sp after 5810, 002 .I think if it fails then you should check pluggable fuse on fuser, as said previously, comes with new sleeve.

i had something like that with a mpc3502 that would nt reset and ended up making a fuse reset jig wth a small door switch and the end connector to a thermister and some wire.
for some reason machine refused to blow that pico fuse and reset.
So after 15 attempts wth pressing the jig and timing the fuser reset it came back.
I started copying nvrams off all the machines i put out afterwards as i figure if it ever happens again i can
just revive the nvram to original working condition.

Can you go to the end of the 3s, and on "manual set new unit, set fuser to 1?
