    Or sometimes there is totaly no need for colour, that happens.
    why not limit it by user settings

    allow b/w to all and set up users to block color both in print and copy?

      What i do too is tell the boss to tell employees he can track/see all usage on the print side and he will bill workers if they abuse the right to print color......
      I also try to explain that these machines run very well in costs vs other lines and unless they are doing crazy full color prints cost will be minimal...
      if that doesnt work i tell the cheapo to look elsewhere....
