    [Jamming] Mp9003 sr4130 jam 177

    Evening all,

i have a Ricoh mp9003 with an sr4130 booklet finisher that whenever the customer tries to do a staple job ie left hand side double or left hand side corner. The machine instantly throws jam 177 and paper is at registration and b2 guide open but message on screen shows jam 177 in R2-R5 in finisher ???. It will booklet staple and fold and also output to the top tray of the finisher without staple. Just wondered if anybody had come across this in the past? TIA

Ok, I didnt expect that reply to be honest, I suppose your rite. It probably is the wrong place with silly reply like that.
It's as bad as saying have you switched it off and on.
Kind of an obvious thing wouldnt you think?

No problems if you take some time and browse the threads you would start to know some users that do reply to messages do know what the are talking about.

Jam177 stapler assy moving problems I would check you can move stapler assy freely. There's also been some problems with stapler harness damage wire check harness may look OK but see if been rubbing on frame. Also with all ricohs make sure all firmwares are up to date.

Ps slimslob is one of the good ones

And he would be surprised at how many of those posting questions here don't even have a manual let alone read it. My policy when I was working was give me a manual and a parts source and I will fix it. The biggest problem before I found this site was the parts source.
