Hey Guys
I've a MP9003 which intermittently puts a small tear in the lead edge of the paper. It only occurs during duplexing and appears to happen between the turn around unit (where the trail edge becomes the lead edge on the second side) and the image transfer for the second side (the image is slightly faded at the lead edge of the second side where the tear appears). The tear sits about a third of the way along the lead edge and is about 10mm long. The appearance is similar to what you get with a worn separator roller in a paper feed section. It also lines up with every transport roller from fuser exit through the duplex section and up to the registration rollers for the second side, so lots of options if it's a roller issue, then there are the paper guides! Paper is in good condition as it's a high volume machine with regular paper changes in a warm office. If anyone has any thoughts I be happy to hear them. Cheers
