Re: Ricoh mpc c8002 weird issue
Thank you for your advice, I was at this machine two hours trying to figure out what setting could have changed. I upgraded firmware, Is there a control panel default or restore settings without wiping out scanning? I also thought about a memory clear but can you clone the settings and restore?Comment

Re: Ricoh mpc c8002 weird issue
I know on the older devices when user tools was up and the screen that displays system settings and copier settings was displayed you could hold the hash key then press on the option you wanted to reset. Bear in mind that in system settings you might have to take note of the ip address etc

Something I trained my customers to do every time they added to the address book. Protects against HDD failure.Comment

Re: Ricoh mpc c8002 weird issue
This is a problem with ALL of the Ricoh's that are set to sort as default in the copy mode. If someone comes up to the machine and puts a original on the glass and presses for 2 copies and does not check that they took the 2 copies then the next person who makes a copy will receive the second copy plus their copies. And guess what? There is no reset time on the first persons copy job. That job will stay there until another copy job is output. Big issue if your copying sensitive read-only documents.Comment

Re: Ricoh mpc c8002 weird issue
That is normal operation. All Ricoh models come out of the factory set for duplex. It will wait up to 1 minute for the second original or you can press the # key to tell it you have no more originals.Comment
