      So You mean that - old, overtime or bad - developer could cause toner to build up on the exit stripper plate so damaging the sleeve.

        After we started doing this the ripping stopped.

          Are they running some funky style paper,acetates etc and are they making the settings for paper weight..
          I started wearing latex gloves when doing these sleeve fusers so my skin oil isnt an issue if i touch it.
          Plus I dont unwrap sleeve till its in place.
