MP 3054 firmware

Would someone have the latest firmware numbers(versions)? The firmware history would be nice. Just want to see if my printing problems are related to the firmware. Thanks in advance.

Why not tell us what your printing problems are so we can diagnose your problem? Hate to see you wait days for firmware when the actual problem could be solved in hours.

At a doctors office, just certain documents from "Allscript" seem to get hung up, ie. out of a 6 page document the firstn3 pages come out quickly, then "stalls" out, says processing then after up to 5min the other pages will print. They have a MP 6002 in same office if they send there everything is fine. I hope I explained ok. The same thing was happening with their previous MP 3351.

May also be using Microsoft's notorious Ricoh class driver.

Well that didn't work. He had PCL 6 universal in, we changed to PCL 6, no go, then 5e still same. He put PCL 6 universal back in. Its only on the one document (preg. report) from Allscript and usually on page 4 when it starts. This is a toughy. It started when they went to "the cloud" with Alscript.

Are they pooling multiple devices of different make and/or model? That is the purpose of the universal driver.

Sounds like the problem is with Allscript. If it's generating a PDF for printing, try clicking on the PDF reader print settings under Advanced, and check "Print as Image", and see if that makes a difference.
