    2232C transfer unit bound up

When the machine is initializing it makes a grinding noise. It looks like its from the transfer unit. I have tried to rotate the gears by hand an it feels really hard to turn. Is there something I can lube or something I can do to loosen it up.

The transfer unit is so integrated I am hoping someone has run into this before and can point me in the right direction so I don't have to disassemble the whole thing.

    TIA

It may be the cleaning blade is causing friction on the belt. Cleaning unit is on the upper left and there is a handle on the bottom that you can press to release the blade. The blade is available separately.

Check transfer belt cleaning brush also, if it turns without friction. Bushings can stuck. Replace the unit for sure, if it is over the yield.
