Re: MP C5502 addressbook user codes back up
I find using Web Interface logged in as Admin does the job.
Or use an SD card to back up and restore. -

Re: MP C5502 addressbook user codes back up
This is the method I normally use. I also like to train at least one person with the customer how to do so and instruct them to so anytime there have been any changes to the address book. First time you have a machine crash a HDD and lose their address book you will understand why.Comment

Re: MP C5502 addressbook user codes back up
On older machines, I use the web image monitor. Sometimes, the formatting is different, so I get the basic info into the new machine and then show the customer how to modify the address book, and as was mentioned, and how to back it up.Comment

Re: MP C5502 addressbook user codes back up
With previous models there was a utility available to convert the backup file made through WIM into a .csv. This allowed you to import the address book into LAN Fax.Comment

The Device settings import/export appears to be a new feature for the IMC range.
Works well so far.Comment
