    [Misc] SP4210 Disable Sensor

    Hi,

    i have a special request:

I want to disable the Paper Exit Sensor. The Printer is inside a carbinet, rear cover is open - so the paper can "fall out" the rear of the printer.

I checked every sp twice...but cant find anything.
    Ideas....anyone?

yeah... know what you mean. But i cant move the device.
The carbinet is to protect the printer from dust. Its inside the baggage handling of an airport.
There is atm a hp device...works like written above.

Well if it works with rear door open I would say that door switch must be shorted or something, As far as getting the paper to exit that way you would have to come with a way of triggering the exit switch as it leaves the fuser but as previous post says paper must eject horizontaly out of fuser.
You would need a curved tray after exit to push paper back round to rear. Why can't they just accept the way it comes out anyway!!!!!!!

Surely there is a door in the cabinet to open so they can get prints, load paper, toner. You also need rear door closed to actuate safety switches. These printers handle dust ok, I have a number of SP4310's in little rooms off aircraft gates, dust causes no issues. The overactive users however keep breaking parts.
PS is not the 4210 a bit too old for the job.

why the easy way? there is always a hard way.

Inside the carbinet is da hole...it fits with to the hp printer.... the paper exit the fuser inside the hole.

What is a carbinet? If you mean cabinet, your local fire marshal might not approve.

This is no problem. Focus on the question...
