Ricoh MP 2851 SC 672

I have a 672 code on a Ricoh 2851 after a long please wait condition, tried reseating connectors to no avail. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Try disconnecting the HDD first and see if it comes to ready.
If it has fax you may also have to remove that as well but try them one at a time.

There are so many threads relating to this code for numerous models, yet you apparently haven't even bothered to look?
I can almost guarantee that any SC code you will ever come across has been discussed here - usually in numerous threads, that will provide wonderful advice to help you solve it....that's kind of the point here.

It's a very common and frustrating code with nearly countless causes; However, my experience has most often ended up being a controller - if disconnecting the HDD doesn't work.
