    MP c4500 copy quality problems

    Hello.
    This is sung.

    I have vertical lines on everything i copy, the lines are always in the same place.
    My copier is Richo MP c4500.
    This is original source.

    This is full color copy.

    This is black and white copy.

    What problems is there?

    Vertical means absolutely when talking about the copier process. Is it in the main scan or subscan direction?

              Agreed..!!!
              This is NOT a forum that end users generally come to ...it's not Fixya.
              It's more of a forum for technicians to talk shop...seek help with issues similar to yours etc etc.
              If you're an end user then the only advice that you should be receiving is to seek out a qualified technician.

                Appears to be an issue with K PDCU.

                  The model was released in 2006. I would recommend a replacement....13 years is a little old for those machines. I'm not certain WHEN... but parts availability WILL be an issue sooner rather than later. Once you get a part listed as "No longer available" that machine will be dead in the water.

                      In the meantime, if you want to have fun disassembling the black photoconductor unit and cleaning it, it will certainly not worsen the quality ..
