    MP9000

Does anyone have any ideas regarding the MP9000's that show the set fuser unit when it is already set?

Check the connector on the back of the fuser unit that plugs into the body of the machine. There may be paper or some other kind of debris stuck in it...

I've seen some other model machines where the connector goes bad, or the wires rot from the heat, but the big machines seem to have a pretty good track record in this area, so it's probably going to be paper jammed in it.

UNPLUG THE MACHINE before poking around in there - 220v power has 2 hot circuits and the machine only has to switch 1 of them to control the fuser lamps...
