    pro c7100sx backgrounding in black

Random. May go for weeks and thousands of pages before it occurs again. Doesn't matter if color or b/w. The black channel will start to background. Just lightly at first of run, then more noticable as run continues. So far, I've replaced drum and charge roller, put in new drum cleaning assy. I've replaced primary charge and ITB belt. Now Ricoh is saying ITB power supply, drum charge sensor, and developer assy. Any thoughts appreciated.
    I've proved mathematics wrong. 1 + 1 doesn't always equal 2.........

How many has the black dev unit got on it? If it's over 2 million, replace it. Could also be the potential sensor is getting a bit tired.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

I would try the Potential Sensor also, they go bad on this model. Other Ricoh models, they never seem to fail, but on this model they do fail.

It's the same potential sensor as the Venus, Taurus and Charis. They're a bitch for failing.
