    SR 970

    Hi,

    I have problem with SR 970 finisher, fuse always blow during copy process.3 times already happen the problem.anybody have idea on this.

    Is it only when you sort or only when you staple?Have you looked for a short in any of the harnesses?Try and narrow it down a little more.Run the finisher in the output modes and see if the same thing happens

      My client always use the punch and i notes that the paper stuck to punch unit then after that the fuse will blow.i already lubricate the punch unit.

        Unplug the punch and make sure paper can pass thru.Then see if you can run the finisher.If it works then you know the punch is bad.May just be the driver board.

          I had a stapler harness get caught up frayed and shorted - very tough to see without a deliberate inspection.
