I am pretty sure you will not be able to SCAN to folder with SMB.

These machine was before Vista and there is no firmware update to fix the issue.

Sir Vulkor, can you help me find any drivers or software for gestetner dsm415f? pls badly needed it.. tnxxx

Some applications doesn't support twain drivers anymore but require drivers "wia" compatible drivers (windows image aquisition) - no chance with most ricohs. Be shure that you test the driver with a twain compatible software (like irfanview).

If SMB scan doesn't work you can use FTP as workaround for most MFPs.
