Hiya,
a client has asked me something I couldn't "fix" right away as I never really stumpled upon this. It's about starting a new copy job while the previous one is still printing out.
I replaced an 3053 with an 4055ASP. They start a copy with let's say 150 pages. The SPDF is scanning those pages really fast (and OK now after all the 4055ASP jam troubles with firmware and the new pad etc. ). When the scanning part is done and it's still getting printed out they want to start a new copy job right away with another let's say 100 pages. This doesn't work as the screen is kinda "locked" with the current copy job with no option to start a new one until the current one is finished.
As said I never really stumpled upon this problem but that company really needs this to work. It does work with the 3053 and a C2003 test machine just fine, this is also how I know this option.
I've spoken to ricoh tech and it was pointing a little into the direction of stacking/sadf, but I'm not really sure if this is the right way for me? I can't really believe that this is not possible and I guess I'm just overseeing an ultra obvious setting?
Do you have any idea if that's even possible and if yes, how?
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Trommel
