ensure all firmware including java and operation panel OS and apps are up to date - should fix the known issue

I think in the system settings, there is a reset SOP to factory defaults button that is way to easy to access that removes the classic applications. My bet is the IT dept is causing your issue not knowing they are responsible.

Oh...it's not even in the system settings... IT'S ON THE EFFING OP PANEL!

Look at the botton of your SOP, immediately to the right of the "house" icon. The stack of three horizontal lines will reset your Smart Op-Panel configuration to Ricoh's preferred panel appearance. Right where any user can push it...unless the screen has been locked by an office manager or such.

does it have the simple screen?

Yes. I told their IT to make sure someone isn't resetting Home screen to factory also.
