[Misc] Pro 5110S calling for Yellow cleaning unit.

    Hi all,

I have a 5110s that is calling for the yellow cleaning unit yet the PM counter has not been reached.

I assume this has happened as the lube bar end sensor has been actuated?

Machine is in a church so as you can imagine this machine is heavily relied upon now!

The lube bat has most likely worn unevenly. Disconnect one lead from each of the lobe bar end sensor and either wrap it with electrical tape or shrink tubing. You will probably have to reset the counter for the lube bar. Be sure to order the parts to rebuild the cleaning station unless you enjoy replacing drums.

Thanks for the tip this worked a treat had to do a manual new unit set after even though the unit was under PM life.

Now hoping there is enough of the bar left or it could be an expensive mistake!!!

I don't know about Ricoh-EU but with Ricoh-USA I could usually get parts in 2 days.
