AirPrint not working on MP C6003 but does on C6502?

We recently swapped machines at a school where teachers that were using the MP C6502 were able to AirPrint via their iPads but now with the MP C6003 the device isn't showing up. All firmware are up to date on the machine and Bonjour/AirPrint are activated. IT is able to print to this device fine so we know it's communicating with their network. PostScript is also installed.

Any ideas?

My guess will be the wireless network is on a different subnet to the copier.

Make sure the device is on the same range as the ipads otherwise it wont work

I had this problem at a customers near 2 years ago. I got dead lucky and saw a note on a random forum about device certificates. I had never looked at certificates before and barely understood it but tried 'making a certificate' anyway which only takes a couple of mins on Web Image Monitor. Tried it about 10 mins later and worked straight away, got customer to try printing from their phones, all good. I'd say if you haven't done it yet, worth a go. Probably worth reading up about it first though, as I say I got dead lucky.

As new models emerge, the security tends to get tighter and tighter, so this is no surprise.

I've heard that the 06 series will require a note from home before they can send or print anything.
