    [Misc] Fuser temperature adjustment

    All

This is for MP C2004. I am bit confused regarding fuser temperature adjustment.

I want to the reduce fuser temperature to meet customer's requirement (for some special paper).

I do not want to play / take trials with Fuser SP settings (there are too many).

Can anybody guide / suggest me which SP settings I should change.

    Thanks in advance.

Can you not just set the paper type to thin paper so it lowers the temperature automatically? Why do they want the temperatures adjusting, does the media melt?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

SP 1-105-001 thru 148, is where you can set the Target Print Temps for the different thicknesses/types., but as suggested before, why not use a thin setting that will bump the temp down without having to "hard set" to a lower temp (which could cause issues going forward on other media).

Scroll through SP-1-105 or print the SP Mode Data list SP 5-990-002 or export to an SD card SP 5-992-002. Pick the paper type/thickness that has the temperature value that you wish to use.
