    Will a MPC2503 fit inside a MPC3503?

    OK.
I know the mpc2503 is a cheap rate knockdown of the mpc3503.
And having little experience with these I am curious if I can use any parts in a pinch.
I was thinking of gutting a few cheap ones to use to rebuild drum and developer units with mpc3503
    drum,drum blades,lub bar etc etc...Anyone try this?

You can swap the parts into the drum housing and it will work. Unsure of the dev unit though

The 2503 & 3503 are PCU & DEV are completely different not a single part is the same (apart from the screws!)

Truth. The pcu and dev on the 2503 is rated for WAY less and designed so. I order the charge roller assy for the 35 and up by itself. Makes the drum go longer unless the lube bar is used up.

I know they are NOT EQUAL..
but can you take a drum unit,a ITB UNIT OR FUSER UNIT and pop it in a mpc3003?
I know the toner is the same although less.......
I can find cheap mpc2503 and the gut them for parts so i rebuild the drum units with higher life parts etc etc.........

What i need to know like if i was on SURVIVOR what can i use on what i have.........
If the core is the same and i use high life drums, lub bars etc etc IS it worth it?

There is no lube bar in the 20/25 series!

The drum cylinder is totally different the coating wears much faster than the 3/4/5/5 series.

                      ok thanks
i guess i will just have to pay up for some mpc3003 series to part out for drums/dev units and such.......
I dont like not having spares as free time to rebuild is never "free".

Before you order the PCU first try replacing just the charge roller this is a lot cheaper & does improve the print quality.

Apologies but I'm wrong about the c2503 fitting the c3503. The drum I'm sure is totally different. I was able to get the c2504 drum parts to fit in a c3503.

The C2504 PCU is the same as the C2503 & WILL NOT fit in a C3503!

Yeah you can strip out the parts and use them. The lube bar is about half the size of the higher speed machines as obviously they only last about 60k.
They are completely different part numbers and are not the same
