My ricoh mp c4501 was printing well later it start print and copy very lightly yellow and magenta print very lightly I remove the yellow and magenta and put in other ricoh copier and it print well.what can be wrong with my own ricoh copier I have clean all the lance bet nothing change.need help please.

Anytime I had a machine suddenly go to light copies and or prints I would turn the power off and clean all the mirrors and the lens of the CCD. When power is turned back on, the machine runs the white reference calibration. For B/W and often for color the problem would be corrected. If that did not correct the problem, I would then run ACC, Auto Color Control.
What happens is that the dust makes the white reference appear darker the normal. The white reference then shifts the entire gray scale. -

Prints were light as well? If just yellow and magenta are light, and you cleaned all the glass and mirros, I would replace the PCU's. Typically what I do but I also have the conveinece of several parts machines in my shop.
Are you using OEM toner? I've replaced many toner pumps from people using generic toner that clogs the hose and doesn't allow toner to get to the PCU.
To check if your toner pump is working correctly, print out an ACC, if Y and M are light, run a forced toner supply for those colors in SP mode, run ACC again and see how they look.Comment
