Customer wanted me to post. Don't know how I would ever duplicate. Ann made a copy of W2, Mary came right after her and did a scan to email to herself. Somehow Ann's W2 was attached as part of the PDF to Mary's email. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? To passify, I formatted hdd and reloaded firmware. Customer still wanted me to post.

Have them go through the motions again and maybe it will happen again. Maybe the MFP is set to collate, and after the first scan it was still waiting to scan more originals, then the second user walks up, scans the next original and completes the process.Comment

Make sure that Batch mode has not be turned on in Original Feed Type. This will only allow the second scan email to be sent, if the first is sent, and then the second, it could be a HDD issue or a resend error with the scanner application (perform an update to Scanner).Comment

It never ceases to amazing how so many can "read" a post and not comprehend what it says. FYI the original post said that "Ann made a copy of W2" not a scan. Two separate functions. mikadonovan's reply is the one that makes sense.Comment
