[CQ] C6502 Band on Leading Edge

I have a C6502 which puts a 1/8 band on the leading edge of copies/prints. In B/w mode the band is grey in color mode it is yellow. I usually happens if the machine sits for a few minutes and is only on the first page of a run. the band runs edge to edge on the leading edge where the deletion should be. Any ideas would be greatful. Thanks

Sounds to me like the PCUs are way beyond PM count or it is a low usage and the are failing due to age. Worn/old drums do not take full charge during the first rotation or more. The process used is write to no charge so if the surface charge is too low you get gray or the color equivalent. Age old problem with the martinis when the charge corona was well beyond PM.
