    [Error Code] MPC305

Hi colleague of mine has MPC 305 with SC541. Has replaced 3 thermistors and thermopile, works for approx 10 pages then calls same code, cannot think of anything else on fuser that would cause this , maybe PSU?

What's the PM counter for the fusing unit? I think they're only good for like 90 - 120k prints.
It's probably the fusing sleeve. Does it make any noises when warming up or idling? Like a "crinkling sound" or bad knocking?

Most of the time it is usually a blown thermal fuse, broken lamp, damaged thermistor, or torn fusing belt, that causes this code.

The fusing units are cheap to replace as a whole unit.

In my experience with these delightful boxes, SC541 is usually the side door, the hooks that lock it in place screw onto a shaft that twists, stopping the door closing correctly. You'll notice the back side of the door doesn't sit flush against the machine. You'll need to replace that shaft, the hooks and the H-frame that the PTR sits in.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                  Hit it.

Re: Ricoh MP2553SP error code SC554-00

I sorry to come up with another problem instead of a solution. I have Ricoh MP2553SP which comes up with error code SC554-00. I replaced thermistors and a heat roller. When i try to run reset SP mode it kicks me out before i finish punching code "clear/mode,107,stop'. Instead it displays something about jobs to be suspended. When its displaying the error code SC554-00 if i try to access SP mode clear mode, 107 and stop keys dont respond.

It can if it is the pressure roller thermostat or lamp.
