    Pro 8120s NVRAM Problem

    Dear All,
We are facing a problem with Pro 8110s, one of our engineer replace nvram 'Fram-1' and 'Fram-2' from another machines and mistakenly installed in wrong socket on board ('Fram-1' in socket 2 and 'Fram-2' in socket 1) after that machine becomes reset and its counter becomes '0' and all settings becomes reset. when we start machine its ask to set admin and supervisor password as set in brand new machine after do all procedures like initialize TD sensor and ID sensor etc. currently when we try to print counter paper jam J-050 occur and very light counter goes in the purge tray. when we install another controller board for testing purpose machine works perfectly.
so we conclude that there is a problem in nvram data or something more to initialize or something else with NVRAM.
Kindly guide me what we can do now.
    Thanks

The chips have been fried and require replacement. Why were you changing them in the first place?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

try to reinstall the old nvram correctly, then save the data on an SD card always before doing what you did. The birth certificate should help you restore the original values. Do you have the service manual?I really do not think so

If you check his other posts this guy is a butcher and maybe better suited to sweep streets, plus he has no problem putting out
info that should not be shared except thru private means...

I know that we have to save nvram data on sd card
This was done by another engineer.

Today I try to save nvram data from another machine and restore that on problematic machine but unfortunately nvram upload failed message I check all steps as mentioned in service manual but unable to upload nvram data.
I insert sd card in slot 2 and excited sp5824.
          Kindly guide me
          Thanks

Possibly the controller board as well. His attempt to zero the counter is going to cost him huge.

                  You can't use nvram data from another machine come on. {also I think that may be illegal}

having seen other posts from the OP I believe this is whats going on:

                    1) there are no other 'engineers' involved.

                    2) the OP is the culprit in this

                    3) OP is no 'engineer' he can't find info in the manual because he DOESN'T -=READ=- the manual.

                    4) he should be sweeping floors instead of working on copiers.

                    5) he is blocked now and will be so till HELL FREEZES OVER

First of all sorry for late response, I have to inform all that according to your guide lines I successfully resolved this issue by replacing new nvrams.
I also want to inform you that I am appointed to resolve the issues which was not resolved by other engineer or first our field engineers maintain machines in field and if they becomes unable to resolve an issue than I called to resolve that and you all guys support me to resolve issues thanks to all of you.
I request you kindly don't misunderstand me.
                      Once again thanks for all.
