It's kind of a weird bulletin. Normally they would give a specific part number for replacement, and maybe a serial number cutoff. I guess this is the only fix for a sc 843-02.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING -

I remember seeing a bulletin for the same "replace panel" issue but the fix was to update the package fw.

The bullentin was released just last week and i think is not only for the METIS-3 series but for all the m/cs using the SOP V2.5 and all the future models using the same SOP.You can see the average value ,in the SMC report, increasing with maybe days of operation or copies.
It seems that now the operation panel is consumable part.Comment
