    Help buy RICOH MODEL IM550

    hello ... I tell you they offer me a RICOH MODEL IM550 printer ... it is almost new but but the screen is broken ... I can buy it at a very good price ... now you can repair or change the screen ... where you can buy the screen on amazon, ebay etc ... I don't know much about raparation ... I appreciate your comments. thanks.

      New screen will probably cost more than the printer, buy something that works.

          I agree. Those Gen 2.5 smart panels are EXPENSIVE. I replaced one a while back for a customer that broke theirs and billed them almost $3000 to replace it. Of course that is retail price, our cost is a lot less than that.

              I mean if you are a dealer and you come across these machines often, you can always swap the display with a higher count machine down the road.

                      SLIM I doubt ripping apart a OP PANEL is something this guy is up for.
                      I think he is more an end user that found a sweet deal..
                      The thing to find out is what other models cross over on that OP panel and maybe buy a used pull.
                      He is in CHILE so shipping might get pricey........
                      Send me a few cases of vino tinto and i will find any parts you need.........

                                      Check if its the lcd or just touch screen I do see complete screens on ebay some times but make sure its the correct one
