    Ricoh MP 7502 SC186

    Wow ! I'm just piling up the Posts lately!! Going to look at this beast tomorrow in the A.M... Never saw this Error before...SC 186 on the Ricoh MP 7502??? Guess its something with the ADF ... Any Hints ?? Thanks !

      it is clearly listed in the service manual....

      did a quick google on it (20 sec)

      this is what I came up with:

          I have seen this 2 times. Once, the 2nd side CIS had grease all over it, and the other time a previous tech had done an all clear and there were no values input for the 2nd side CIS. I ran a full smc from another working '02 and used those values to input, and they worked out OK.

              Probably just needs the CIS to be cleaned.
