    sc 325-00 in pro 8120s

Good morning, I am having problems with a pro 8120s, the machine is indicating a sc325 error, generally after a self-test, it can print 5 thousand pages without problem but when stopping and wanting to start it can jump that error or not, it also had an sc670 error, When sending you a job when it was in power saving mode, it registers a sc991 error these days too, I am disoriented, check the development module and it turns smoothly, change the developer powder by PM without problems, remove the motor assembly from the PCU and did not find anything broken, any clue what may be happening? I leave the log sheet of sc, thanks

What does your service manual say about each of those errors?

Here you go mate, hope it helps.
It might need a new Dev unit.

That covers SC 325 but not the other 2 service codes. If he has a service manual he already has that information. If he does not have a service manual he is an idiot and idiots should not be trying to work on production machines.

Indeed. Baron dev unit lives vary but usually need replacing at 3mil or so. The caterpillar belts between the reg and the fuser getting dirty and the vent duct under the dev unit being full of toner are the classic signs.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

              Hit it.

I have never replaced a developer unit on an 8100, or 8200 series yet, we have many with over 10 million, some with over 20 million, even a handfull over 30 million clicks and they are single clicking on long paper.

The most common cause of this code is the charge unit, just replace it, it doesn't cost that much.

Also, take a look at the tech pub D179/D180/D181-016 in the US. I can not get it uploaded, sorry. It talks about drum unit grounding points.

You're very lucky. I've replaced 6, usually around the 3-4 million mark, especially when they start puking toner down the bottom of the dev unit vents and the ducting in the back.

You are the best, replace the grid and the corona wires, two days ago it did not present the error, is retund the error I had access to the bulletin that indicates for the error sc325 and sc395, a failure in the ground discharge of the drum and the I had as an alternative to lubricate with a conductive grease and pray... , thank you very much to all who responded to this post!
