Re: access point repeater - wireless printing (wifi)

Yes, i've been using these for a while now, ideal if the copier is in a room with no LAN port.
Fast & simple to set up no issues with print & scan.
This is a good cheap model I use - TP-Link 300Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender

-I have used them for years also. You can also connect them to a 5-port switch and connect up to 3 devices in addition to the copier or a connection point for your laptop when servicing.
Re: access point repeater - wireless printing (wifi)
Yes you can if that is the only option to use but NOT recommend as speeds will be slower and will most likely lead to more service calls if repeater goes offline. As far as connecting to a switch and use more devices NOT recommended do to even slower speeds as more devices access wifi using a single connection.

Any site that uses a wifi repeater is going to be a home or small office user who won't notice any drop in speed.
I have this exact one at home to boost the wifi in the garden its never once dropped off.
However TP-Link do one that supports 5GHz AC wifi should you be worried about speed.
