    mpc2800 5" lines

Blurry lines at 5" interval, transversal to paper travel, also visible in color mode.
    5" = PCU?
Thank you again for your answer.

    Can you post an example?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

i would check the paper transport assembly, maybe broken pin in rear where it pivots.
          OR the housing itself.
Sometimes i see ITB unit get humid from sitting and the cleaning unit does not clean right.
I would pull all drums,ITB unit and fuser and look for worn parts.
I just had one i took in trade and had sold and was jamming only on 11by 17 and it turned out to be that
rear plastic pin on the transport unit...I used a quality crazy glue and drilled thru it and used a this nail with a small
head to give it support..Now it works..

FShead, that is exact what i just did: paper transfer unit swaped, no good.
Checked ITB, F.U. pcu, seems to be all good.

I have no idea what the copy looks like..
I have done a lot on these series and was a real pleasure learning them..
I would stop a test print pre fuser and see if it on the unfused paper

Both pcdu & fu needs to be replaced.
Had a lot of bad luck in the previous weeks with referbishing Ricoh's.

Just checked and PCU's are about 5" in diameter. The Fuser belt would be more like 7".
So PCU would be what i would suspect.

EDIT: Didn't see your post that said you're going to replace those items.

Run individual colors one at a time to see if it's one of the drums.

                          i agree with you.
make sure individual colors is turned on and do partial 2 inch sky shots with paper blocking lead and trail edge.

i cant see 4 drums all going bad at once
