    MPC3004 Airprint

    Is Airprinting on an MPC3004 a standard feature?
    or is it optionel and do I need a postscript module

    airprint doesn't appear to be an option

        It's standard, so to say.
        You need to download the "Ricoh Device Connector" app on your phone (android or apple).
        Make sure that your phone is on the same network as the copier.
        For Apple you have to either scan a QR code from the machine op panel, or you can enter the IP address of the machine into the app and it will search for the copier that way.
        Once the copier is found, you should be able to print from a webpage, photo album, email, etc.

        EDIT: you don't need Postscript.

          So it doesn't have the 'airprint utility' without the app, which the IMC's does ...

            Look on the Web Image Monitor under "Configuration", and on the right hand side under "Network", you should see "Airprint". It's active by default.

              Yes it does. You will need to create a Device Certificate for it to work.

                Yes it is standard but it's a embedded post script not full Adobe ps3 missing fonts etc if you want to use on mac it's best to get ps3

                  Does the customer have an always on Windows PC or server?

                  If so, you can install AirPrint for Windows, which uses the shared printer queues on the server. Also, PostScript isn't needed this way.

                    I think this machines works with airprint out of the box... The certificate is enabled by default...
