    Mpc3001 sc531

Ok got the sc531. Changed both fans by the fuser. It will run a single page no problem, but as soon as we try 3 duplexed pages we get another sc531. Any ideas?

Wrong fans. The fan you need to replace is Ventilation fan(s) at the left side of the machine. The fusing unit is at the right side of the machine. See Airflow fans under Laser Optics in the Replacement and Adjustments portion of the service manual.

      Here's one!

How about stating that problem in your first thread from 2 hours previous to this one:
      Mp c3001 exhaust fan part

.....And then, returning to that same thread to update us about your failure, and ask for more help, rather than starting a brand new one!

I’m sorry to have offended you gentlemen that was not my intention. I was figuring because I had two different questions that I should open to different threads but if the consensus is not to do that then in the future I will not

I certainly hope that no one‘s feathers were to ruffled

so the two fans on the left side of the machine by the laser assembly are the problems eh?

My bad 531. Other fan SC would be
                  530 - fusing fan
                  532 - IH Coil fan
                  533 - IH inverter fan
                  534 - Second duct fan
                  535 - Paper exit fan
                  536 - Third duct fan

                          531
                          - Defective ventilation fan motor-front or rear
                          - Defective IOB

So, if you ruled out the fans, and checked the connections, the IOB is your next suspect - D0895123 PCB:IOB
