    Prrinting Envelops Ricoh 2045

Can't get the toner to adhere to the #10 envelope when printing. All other prints and copies look great. What gives?

It sounds like it's not fusing correctly, which is usually paper too thick and the machine does not know that the paper is thicker than normal.

Tell the machine that you're running the envelopes, and tell the machine to run it in thick paper mode. Once the envelope is in the bypass tray, press the # button, which should bring up the special paper menu.

You might try another brand on envelopes if changing the settings doesn't help. I had a customer with some that just wouldn't fuse.

If they are linen it will likely be a problem.

The 2035/2045 series don't support envelopes.
