Not too big of a deal, you can just turn SMBv1 back on when you go to remove those damn IPP class drivers that they install with each update. /s

you also give bad advice.. turning on SMB1 opens up the server to ransomware attacks.. (Virus)

there are currently laws suits against dealerships here in the USA where a tech turned on SMB1 and the server was attacked.

and besides that when the new MS update comes out it will be disabled again.

i don't know about work record but I would STRONGLY advise AGAINST THIS.

but someone MAY NOT know your shorthand .... AND may actually take your words as advice ... you may want to spell the word out completely OR just not mention it.

Good call, I just assumed everyone knew what it was but I guess we know what happens when we assume...I'll edit my post to clarify.
